Young Womens Housing Project (YWHP) is based in Sheffield and is one of the only specialist services in the UK offering supported accommodation and therapeutic provision to young women aged 16-25 years, and their children, who have been affected by sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and intimate partner abuse.

YWHP provides accommodation and housing support to establish a safe and secure home, providing the crucial foundation for recovery. When clients are ready to move on, YWHP helps with resettlement and offers follow on support to ensure they are managing their new home successfully.

YWHP also offers an outreach service; if a young woman already has somewhere safe to live but would benefit from our specialist therapeutic support services.

Group and one-to-one sessions include a “parents as first teachers programme”, parenting support for “at risk families”. Flexible and personalised support helps each child to reach age-related expectations, potential and developmental milestones.
